For whatever it's worth, DKE distributes a documentary I produced about designer vinyl toys. His distribution network extends pretty far and wide, and if he's on the supply end of the project, it mean ...

Lookin' good!

Since I don't have one of your kits already, I know I'll be buying the whole kit, not just some parts. Looking forward to it. Smile

Looks good to me... Though I thought the first version looked good, too, so clearly my attention to detail leaves something to be desired. Smile

Tough call re: the clip. On one hand, I love the idea of an all-metal gun. On the other, IF the original piece was plastic, then I'd rather stay true to the original.

And Once Bitten, I think you ...

I guess the price is because it's a limited edition. It's only $50 more than the original price (though I bought mine through Monsters In Motion when it was on sale -- only $199 instead of $249...)

Nice to hear. So I'll be able to swap the screws depending on my mood. Smile

One other question... Will the new kit feature the exposed cylinder underneath the bolt lever? This is one of my favorite d ...

Quick question: Can the Weaver screw be replaced with a standard screw for those of us who would rather have it be screen accurate, and not World Con accurate? Would it be a simple matter of just swap ...

Wow, this is great news. I'm definitely interested in the new kit. Thanks for the production pics, too -- they're fascinating, especially for those of us who aren't model-makers ourselves.
