I started doing some modifications on my 2019 and thought I'd share.
I am far from done yet and knowing me when I get finished I will probably sell it get another kit and start from scratch Smile

I media-blasted the receiver and stripped and repainted the whole gun.
Also marblized the grips a bit.

I hope to install a fifth red LED and a second green one and to install a metal barrel at some point.

Please let me know what you think.
Thanks,
Frank

Is that the Off-world piece? If so, it's a thousand times better than was stock.

Can you offer any details? (paint removal, modifications, color/brand of new paint, etc)

Yes it is an Off world model and thanks for the compliment Smile
I actually media blasted all the plastic at a very low pressure. The Black is krylon semi flat with a light clear coat and the scuffed up a bit.

I believe the silver is rustoleum aluminum.

The Receiver was stripped to bare metal in the cabinet as well. Then washed in black and cleaned off with a light solvent.

And I thank Once-bitten for the weaver knob!

Frank

Great job! That is what I would do to mine if I could.Instead I'm buying a new Coyle.Though in truth it has other advantages as well over the Offworld.I'd pretty much like one of every blaster outh there! Very Happy

No doubt the metal Coyle is quite a big step up from this guy.
Just did some mods to what I had that made it look better to me Smile

Don't know how I missed this but it looks amazing!

Care to share what products/process you used?

I'd love to see better/larger photos also. Thanks for sharing.

That's a beautiful job. Can you tell us more about what you did with the grips? They look so much better than the bright orange original colour.
