|
|
First of all please accept my apology for not reply to your emails. I receive more than 30 emails per day and the most of them are for the New Blade Runner Kit. Unfortunately as the most of you know I spend the most of time in hospital with my Mom and when I return to home I just have the time to go on in to my primary work and for the new worldcon blaster. The important is that I mantained my world and you can see here the first casted kit. I am organizing my time and some friends of mine are giving their help to make the new kit production. I also have to write the on-line instructions for the kit and then I will update my website. I think that I will be ready for the selling in to the next Monday. Wath you see on the images is wath you will receive an all screwed kit with ready to use electronic kit. So the kit take al ot of time because it needs to be prepared. I inform you because all parts are assembled when the order is received and this will take some time more than the precedent kit. This mean that you will place an order and you will get the kit in about 15-18 days instead the 7 days neded for the precedent one.
I hope you will love the new kit
Thanks to all people that supported me.
Siderio.

Looks great!
The only part I'm not 100% about is the trigger guard, the shape looks a tad off.
Other than that it's wonderful.
So are you going to offer spare parts to those of us that want to upgrade a few things here and there, and for those of us that already bought your new grips? |

Would it be possible to see this blued so that we can better see the form compared to the worldcon photos?
Man, I can't wait to buy this all metal puppy.
Cheers,
Holt
Also, I hope for a speedy recovery for your mother. You will be in my thoughts. |

BTW, the barrel looks like it could be a tad longer. Either way I'm down for one.

awesome, thanks spinner...
with that being done, i have one small but seemingly important area to point out....
other than this is perfect.
it appears that the "thumb groove" behind the weaver knob and located between the two red lines is not nearly as "pronounced" or deep/defined as it is on the hero.
I can live with it, but I know that Sid's goal here is to be as accurate as possible so as to never have to do this again
Just pointing it out.
LOVE THIS GUN. |

I have to agree with technocoy, this area has an altogether different shape
than I have ever noticed before!
Good eye technocoy, I was just getting out my red marker when you posted!
It does make sense that there would be a way in which to get your fingers on
BOTH sides of that knob rather than just the front of it.
Regardless...I plan on adding this detail when mine arrives.

Aye. VERY easily corrected with a Dremel imo.
EDIT: Maybe Sid could post another shot (or angle) of that section. Is it possible that the photo is just "washing out" that area, & sort of masking the true shape? |
