It's a yellow clear plastic photo cover.

Two methods. One is to go to a watchmaker and get a domed watch crystal that fits within the photo ring. It it is a plastic "crystal" you should be able to dye it yellow.
The method I used with pretty good results was to print the face photo on a yellow background and then laminate it. It gives the appearance of a yellow plastic cover over the pic, but it is flat and not domed.
Did anyone ever determine if the yellow on the Worldcon badge was part of the design or the result of age? |

Eltee... just got the badge in the mail today. I agree with the others in this thread - it's INCREDIBLE. Well done! I'm very glad I purchased one. I love the weight it has - very substantial.
As to the photo/crystal suggestion, thank you! Now... does anyone have a good photo of young Harrison Ford that would be appropriate to use? _________________ Bill Hunt, Editor

Thanks Bill, and everyone else, for your gracious comments on the badge. Did anyone attach one to an armor panel? I would really like to see a pic if you did.
Hopefully my metalsmith will come up with the second batch soon. |

Hi Eltee... I'm late for this party, but was wondering if you have any more of these sets left or coming?
If not, will the badge and Police 995 plate be the same size as what you're planning for your upcoming blaster stand?
Thanks! |

My metalsmith runs a one-man jewelry and metal casting shop so I get my stuff in small batches from him. I can add you to the list if you want.
The badges for the pistol stands are the same ones from my wallet sets, they are smaller and in brass. There are larger silver colored ones as seen on the patrol officers' uniforms and armor, and the smaller brass colored ones as created for wallet use (but not screen seen or production confirmed).

The second batch of large Worldcon Style badges with photo rings and the "POLICE 995" Plates have arrived. Those on the list please send $150.00 payment to me via Paypal, my paypal account is: citycop49@policeone.com.
This is for the complete set, finished in the dark grey/black wash and laquered as shown in the photos. All three pieces. They are large and heavy and very impressive.
Those who want to be added to the list, please post here. These are very nice and are based on the uniform / armor badges seen onscreen as worn by the uniformed officers.
Will ship US Postal Service Priority with confirmation as soon as payment is received. Shipping is included in the price.
