Thought I should share this.
My first of four packages arrived from Italy today!

Not sure how he managed it but the slider switch for the LED's is white!
More pics soon I hope.

Did that magazine cover arrive black? Does this mean it's plastic like on the original Worldcon?

Just curious as this would be a good move and I know a few people have requested plastic clip parts.

Here's a fun thing...as you can see Sid did indeed make the ejector improvement as promised!

Not sure what to say about the magazine cover.
Yes it's black and yes it's plastic and has the switch plate molded right to the side which is cool.
I hope Sid plans to include these with ALL the kit's of the World-Con he puts out, but he did just recently say they will be metal.
I did suggest the plastic to him some time ago and I can't help thinking that he may have made this one for me because I asked for it...
but I truely don't know which it will be in the kit.
I think the plastic will help to lighten the whole thing up a bit and, as you stated, it's more acurate to the "hero" prop.

My first kit package arrived last week and the clip is also black plastic. I would assume that plastic is the material that will be used for the kits.
Are the owners of the Bulldog based BR blasters readers of this thread? I would like to know how much an actual steel version weighs,... I expect it is very heavy.

Isn't it like 7 pounds for the real steel blasters?

Let's get some more pictures up, Once-Bitten!

It's just a tease with those 2 photos out there.

Looks like more great work from Siderio. The pre-wired electronics looks great and the fact that these can just be screwed together with no need for epoxy is the icing on the cake.

I'm saving my money for 1 of these, but it would be so much easier if I could just win the lotto and not have to worry about money. :lol

No doubt about it!
I'll put up more pics when I recieve the other packages.
I did recieve one yesterday but it's the same as the first so
I figured I'd spare you guy's having to look at the same stuff twice.
I'm sitting right by my front door and expect more packages at any moment!

Sitting by the door waiting for the mailman... I know that feeling.

So what's the deal? Is Sid sending multiple packages because of the weight, or is it because of customs?

Has anyone out there received all their parts or possibly even finished the build? If so photos please!

I'm waiting on my little economic incentive bonus from the IRS before I order mine, should be soon I hope. I noticed on the Sid's website that he is doing a first run of 300+ so hopefully I won't miss out

It has a much better feel to it than cast resin so I'm going with injection molded...
I've worked a little with resins and this aint that.

Now is it the whole magazine assembly that's plastic or just the bottom cover?

I think I'm the only one who got the ammo box in metal! I wasn't aware they came in plastic. Though I dont mind this. I got a good idea how to attatch it securely.

I got my upgrade parts a few weeks ago. The quality of the castings and their finishing are superb! Just waiting on the front trigger now.

Not sure if I should install the weaver knob or not. didn't the screen used prop have the slot screw instead?

The slotted screw is the one shown ON-SCREEN.

That's the one I'll be using on mine.
