The stand can easily be converted to a wall hanging rack by removing the screws that connect the back to the bottom. The back piece can be hung on the wall by drilling a single hole or two holes based on how you want it to attach. The pistol will conceal that hole. You can screw the rack into the wall with security hardware and back-wire the gun to the rack, making it difficult to simply grab the gun and run.

If there is any interest, I can engineer a security bar out of metal to secure the gun to the rack, in the same concept as we use to secure shotguns and carbines to our cop cars. It could be done artfully, and by using security screws can hold the gun to the rack but easily removed by anyone with the proper tool. Just a concept.

I can add a 4" x 4" licensed Ennis House tile that is glazed on top and the sides. This can be placed on the base as a nice design element. Comes in a greenish or brownish glaze.

I'm leaving for a short trip Friday but will be back in a week. By then, or shortly thereafter, I hope to have some prototype pics showing a completed version with the gun in place on the pegs.

Please submit any design ideas you may have. Would very much like a clear image of the "POLICE" hat piece with the eagle so I can see if it can be CNC'd.

I think it looks great - but I think it needs to be wider so the metal background frames the entire gun.

I love the ennis brown tile idea as well

Thanks

Here is one protoype stand for use with a 4"x4" glazed Ennis House / Wright tile. What is shown is a photo of the tile placed on a block of wood cut to the actual dimensions of the tile (waiting for the actual tile to arrive).

The brass pegs have a recess to center the gun away from the stand. The pegs have a nice spherical "dimple" on the ends.

The other prototype with the brass gusset / corner brace is still in the design phase as I am working on the badge for that one.

The tile has arrived. It comes glazed as shown, except for the very bottom ridge where you would normally use grout. I added the color to this area.

I am thinking of adding back in the brass bar at the junction of the two pieces (see earlier pics). A work in progress, but here it is so far.

That's looks awesome eltee!

I still would prefer the police 995/Badge - but it looks great regardless.

Thanks. We are still working on the picture badge and/or "POLICE 995" badge version. I have two prototypes in process right now, one for the badge and this one with the tile. I may try to get the tile design CNC'd out of brass as an alternative to the glazed tile.
