A message board stanby, the "show your mug" thread. I'll start;
Me (on the right ) and my tolerant wife at a Horrorpops show. Thankfully she likes art deco stuff as much as I do.

Mmmm..tattooooos. Its a struggle between prop money and ink money for me. Plus I'm starting to play music again so you know how that adds up. For better or for worse props have been winning out lately, but here is the start to my left sleeve;

here i am:
my main interest and hobby is to set/adjust/mod guitars. i also collect them. oh well, this interest doesn't get over my BR obsession of course, it's just my "practical" hobby, it's what i do when i'm back home from work. that's also why i don't have any BR collections/props/etc other than all the VHSs, DVD, the "Bible" and many other BR-related books.
i also got a guitar-related website: www.ibanez87.it (english also) with plenty of pictures. |

Welcome Jovanka, Very good to have you on here. I hope you can find some stuff on here.
Of course many of us are all Familiar with you from BladeZone and the Dangerous Days documentary. It was good to see your 'inner geek' on there. I also have quite a few friends that are Rue Morgue junkies too. Good work.
Gooble gobble, one of us.

Hello Jovanka,
I saw the name as the newest registered user, and wanted to welcome you to the community!! I have to admit that I love the sleeve!
Hopefully you find something here that interests you or helps you or even helps someone else!
Welcome to Propsummit!

Thanks for the warm welcome guys! I found out about this place when a friend told me about a whiskey bottle I should probably have.
I want one!
Glad you guys like the tattoo. When I got it, I never thought it would reap such rewards. Oh and I'm running out of room but I am going to tattoo the words SKIN and JOB along the sides of my hands very soon. That and I found a little spot for the origami unicorn on my leg. It never ends.... |

mmmm... the bottle is very hard to get... but perhaps Phil will do an exception! (Once-Bitten). I hope so!

This tattoo was our friendship start! I love so much when I've seen first time. Then, I meet you (thru email boys, I cannot fly to Canada for now...) and find a warm welcome from your part. Hope you find here the same for you! Surely, this will be true!
SKIN and JOB in your hands?? Well... I know one user will be very happy!!! (right Fred?)
Cheers!! _________________

Maybe we should start a Tattoo section here on Propsummit? I actually have been trying to get a BR Tat myself and have been working on a few designs (I have designed several tattoos for others, so far three have been done, sold a few more pieces of my artwork as flash). The Tattoo shop I picked here in Rochester refused to do my work without a doctors note because I am type 1 diabetic (issues with infection). My Doctor also said no. Both my girlfriend and my mother have tattoos now. I am starting to become proud of my clean skin. Since I stick myself with needles all day long I guess I can be excused. 10 years ago I would have just gone with another tattoo place, but I am 41 now and have already spent way too much money I don't have on ignoring doctors advice, not to mention nearly dying. Oh well
Andy
oh yeah...and a vintage pic of me in 3D...

mmm.... I think this kind of personal pictures could be a GREAT addition to my Project Book. The Profiles section, one page devoted to each contributor, could include this kind of pictures, instead a seriously and formal one.
What do you think about??
I ask here, the place of funny pictures...
Oh. My own picture? I'm only working in the "Environment".... Take a look. This is the Cave of MyBladerunner...
