Here's another tidbit relayed to me today. I believe this to be new info. The fellow in ID photo is none other than Art Shippee, BR Assistant Prop Master.

I think I recognize him... He portrays the officer with a white shirt seen on the police HQ... He can be seen talking to a girl in the background of a deleted scene showing Deckard and Gaff on their way to Bryant's office...

I'll try to find a screencap and / or photo of him in that scene...

Yeah, he's in some of the onset photos as well with his arms crossed.

Seems like some one pointed him out in a thread recently too.

Has anybody been able to get in contact with Mr Shippee? He may be a guy that would be able to answer a lot of our questions.

He apparently has a son, Art Shippee III, who also works in props.

Well... Why don't you ask him if he recalls anything about the label applied on Deckard's "spanish bottle" that we are currently trying to identify ?

That would be great if he could provide some info on this !

Thanks,

Fred

I think he would tell me the same as he did about the JW bottle - it was found at a store. Like I said before, he is a guys of few words and the whole idea of it happening 25 years ago I'm sure becomes a bit cloudy. I think a bottle is a bottle, is a bottle to him.

I can always ask and I will.
