I picked up this guy recently and it looks to fit a PKD snub pretty well.
It is a Safariland 550 for 2 1/2" and 3" barrel. Now I have to finish my Rick Ross Snub kit

If I do finish it and use the gun, I will have to forgo the Laser rod, because it fits pretty tight. Even more than on the larger holsters. It would get easily ripped off. I wonder how one of the Hartford Snubs would fit in it? Not that I can afford one mind you. It makes a nice display none the less.

Do you think it's tight enough to damage the paint job?
I handled this type of holster with Kovach's hero gun when we shot PAIN, and he was shoving the hero gun into the holster with no issues, but it's polished bluing, not krylon paint.

I am sure it would take paint off if not put into the holster carefully. It also would restrict what kind of paint I would use. More specifically the weathering would have to be done carefully and rub and buff is out of the question.

I usualy glue felt or moleskin inside the holster to make sure there's minimal rubbing. Moleskin can be find in shoe dpt. and is skin tone in colour. |

Andy, is the snub and holster combo too big to wear on the ankle or just the perfect size? Very Gaff. _________________ Formerly offworld66 |
