*******************************************************
Folks,
In about a week i'll be moving onto a new and interesting project. I've decided to offer a few more of the spinner blueprints, after which i move on. I'll have the printer make one batch of 10 sets, and that will be it. No more. Done.
This is your last chance. So....anyone up ?

Hello all,
Sorry this being my first post. My name is Wasili, i'm from Amsterdam, the Netherlands and Blade Runner has made quite an impact on me.
I am offering copies of original blueprints of the Spinner from Blade Runner. And the nicest thing is, NEARLY ALL DIMENSIONS ARE READIBLE !! A few are a bit garbled, but you can still make out the dims.
I used to own an original set that was used for making the smaller spinner on top of the police station, but these were scaled blueprints. Scaled from the same large blueprints you have seen pictured in low-rez in the mags and books. But the details on these was incredible. I scanned them at high rez.
These are A0 sized b/w prints directly from that scan. So not a copy of a copy of a copy of a print. Throw away your scaled-up, hardly-readable magazine prints. Here's the real deal.
So:
- A0 sized
- B/W
- sheet #1 and #3
- folded (not rolled) in a cardboard backed envelope
- USD 75,- each (that is, per sheet), includes worldwide shipping
- paypal only
Please PM to order, and to exchange contact details.
Best,
Wasili

Welcome, and very cool!
I hope these are available for some time because I am tapped right now with all the recent items from here. Also what kind of printing process and material are you using to make these?
Thank you,
Andy |

Hi Andy,
Have been a lurker for some time, but only now feel i can contribute a little bit to the community.
And no worries, they'll be around. It's always the same, you've waited for some stuf for 10 years, and all of a sudden it comes up the same day.
To be a bit more precise on the process, etc.
The digital scan (VERY large jpeg) is converted to pdf, and then send directly to a large scale printer, primarily used for blueprints. There is no in between, so to speak. My printer is not one of the large Kinko's, but gives a more personal touch. Sat next to him when he did the conversions. There's more control for me, which gives me better satisfied results.
The paper used is a bit thicker than your average printerpaper. I've handled many set blueprints, and those are thinner than this one. I have to ask the printer how much grams this paper is, but i cannot do that until tomorrow.
The folding is done by machine, but the folds are not razorsharp, they are soft.
Hope this answers your questions a bit.
Best,
Wasili |

Thank you. I have an OCE' at my disposal to make large B&W prints. Great machine.
Thank you, and welcome again,
Andy |

Thanx for the warm welcome.
Btw, you can also order just one sheet now, and the other one later. Prices include shipping anyway.
Just a thought

Welcome Wasili,
Two questions:
1. Can they be printed in a "blueprint" blue color?
2. Can they be rolled instead of folded? I would be interested in one for framing, but only it it was without fold marks. I would willing to pay a little extra for having it rolled and mailed in a tube.
THANK YOU for making this available.
