A tip for players on a budget, there are many linen blazers / jackets on various ebays around the world and some are even herringbone design, same as Decks. Make sure you get a cream or white one and that it is comprised of natural fibres and then have it dyed your shade of orange. All up mine cost under $50,00AUS. Very cheap, very accurate.

Continuing on this theme (and the GOOD ADVICE offworld66 gave above):
I'm writing this post on Thursday April 2nd.
In about 7 hours bidding will end on ebay on a Herringbone Tweed Blazer Size 42R. It's a different jacket than the one that originally prompted this thread...
(and NO, I'm not the Seller... just a guy with a good lead that I hope might help out one of our Members here)
If you're interested in taking a look, go to ebay.com and type the following (exact phrase) into their Search Engine

Mint Herringbone LANDS END Tweed Blazer - 42R

Is it perfect? No, of course not... no shoulder yoke or back panel etc... OBVIOUSLY. (I've gotta say, though: There's a shot of the BACK of the jacket where the COLOR looks just PERFECT - to ME, anyway - Although from the front it looks a little lighter...) WHICH is more "TRUE to LIFE"?
Beats me.

But if you're interested in grabbing up a pretty nice "Close Enough" you should take a minute and have a look... You might soon be sending me a message that says "Thanks for the tip!"
Also, I should mention: it looks like you can get it for only 25 bucks!
If you're interested, GOOD LUCK.
Mitch

Not YET, repdetect...
But don't worry... I'll be taking - and posting - plenty of pictures of my entire get-up once it gets here.
I'm so eager to get it, I'll probably be posting an announcement here once Magnoli tells me it's gone out in the MAIL!
Cheers,
Mitch
