Ruger has come out with a slick looking new 5 shot 38 that I have no doubt will be in many a movie come next year. It's called the LCR:

I especially like the way the cylinder is fluted. It's just plain cool looking.

It's a "Lightweight Compact Revolver" and honestly my first thought was how easily this could be used as a basegun for a very cool blaster variant.

It comes apart in an interesting way.

BUT, what really grabbed me about the design, and made me smile was the front of the frame. The placement of a certain screw.

That's just not something I have ever seen on a production revolver, and it made me think of our beloved blade runner blaster.

Nice but I like having single action as an option.

I'd go with BSG-ish myself.
