back from a trip and always astonished at what can happen here in just 2 weeks! I gotta have more Bottle! I know, Cowbell sounds better - but you cant pour Whiskey from a cowbell.

you know me OB - put me down for a couple. and let me know if you got my last PM a few weeks back.

I'm not too sure that would work at all actually. Firstly the Listerine caps are corrugated and have little squeeze panels on the sides, and then you have the internals of the cap which are set up for a threaded top.

I used a gold metal cap that I got as a free sample from a company that specializes in bottles, caps, ect. I added a bit of felt to the inside of the cap to keep it snug on the bottle, but it wont work as a functional cap/cork if I wanted to store JWB in the bottle long term. So if you're looking for both function as well as form, could take some leg work to find a cap that will work with minimal modification.

Great points Loyal...
Also worth mentioning again is the Fenjal Cap which others have modded with some success. (though no-one has offered to send me one Sad )
It's available on Ebay if you need another way of finding it.
I know the information is buried in another thread so it bears repeating.
Check this:
http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=170374023706&ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT

I have also found that a good way to get the "Brushed Aluminum" look to the cap is by using a cut piece of craft mylar from the craft store.
A cut rectangular piece is an excellent fix for a cracked Finlandia Cap, which tend to fit a little better I've noted AFTER they have cracked.
