|
|
Hi Guys,
As I am slowly getting to the end of building up my Sidkit Worldcon blaster there are a couple of thing's that have been causing me to seek some advice (AGAIN)! I want to try and find a couple of authentic looking screws that go in the ammo box (Rich has them looking spot on on his all metal worldcon C S & T) but the thing is I don't really know a) exactly what type/style/size they are and b) where to get said screws from? One looks like a small grub screw and the other a tiny screw with a washer?
The other thing is the old 'holy grail' that is the white switch for the LED's!! I am pretty sure from looking at previous posts that finding one is going to be very hard so is the best thing to try and paint the black switch that came with it using something like a cream humbrol model paint?
As always any advice is gratefully received!
Regards
Paul. |

They are both grub screws, one just has a washer or threaded stop washer.

Thanks Andy,
I know from reading on here that you are somewhat of an aficionado where the BR blaster is concerned! Could you please suggest what size grub screws I should use and if it's possible to but them with the washer/collar?
Many thanks in advance!

Well now that I am back, I can help.
On the side of the ammo box to the Bulldog it is a 4/40 allen head socket cap screw and the front if a 10/32 allen head socket cap screw.
Send me you address and I can mail you one of my white switches, mind you the cover plate is not on the switch I have them made, so do you need it as well?
Heck I can include the screws as well.
