That is why nobody wants to deal with you Rich. It isn't worth it to them. It is better for them to start with a fresh start. BTW, are you still paying Craig for the Steyr parts you used from him? I wouldn't want to keep paying off subsidies either.

That is a very unkind thing to say.
And very untrue.
You have no idea of what kind of deals I make or would ask.
So far no one has offered any kind of deal, almost all have simply bought one of my models and worked from it.
I said I am aware of what deals of like nature are made in the real world.
I am aware of the percentages normally done.
I would exspect an offer of that kind of nature.
I am reasonable and willing to work to make a real deal.
I am not willing to give it away free, and no one in their right mind should.

OK So "xD" or "XD", an emoticon commonly used on the internet to express happiness, self-deprecation, laughter, bewilderment, or sarcasm
I figured as much....considering the poster.

Rich,
I am sorry if I was a bit harsh with you, but your post came off as a bit smug. Understand that even if you were just asking a dollar per gun for using your cast from the Steyr it would be more than most would want to pay. People want to make things their own way and being from Japan they can not make the casts themselves because of legally having the gun. If you offered a one time fair price for a cast off an unmodified existing Steyr you would get a better response instead of insulting their request with comments like "why reinvent the wheel".
Maybe you have to reel back on what you think are clever comments, and spend more time listening to what people say. Most people don't get your sense of humor. They also have different ideas on how to do things.
I am glad you have the opportunity to work with those that want to here, but you need to respect those that don't want to, or find a way to work with them on their terms.
Sincerely,
Andy |
