Cheers Beast!!
Nope, I used Sid's weaver and bindpost but modified them quite heavily. In all honesty, I consider your SidKit the best possible build out there because of how you strove for accuracy. Since you had already taken the SidKit about as far as it could go as a clean build and because I don't have the metal skills you possess, I decided to rather concentrate on the aesthetic aspect of the old buggered WC.
Where mine lacks physical accuracy, I hope it makes up with a generous amount of aesthetic eye-candy.
I will be making a few modifications in the near future, but they are tiny things that generally won't make much of a difference to the overall blaster...
Thanks again to everyone for the kind support here..! _________________

As some members here know, I had the privilege of seeing Dan Lanigan's prize acquisition a few months back (http://www.propsummit.com/viewtopic.php?t=5093&highlight=zhora) and looking at it I decided that it was high time to restore my Worldcon build so that it was more in keeping with the original - as it currently is - instead of it remaining totally rusted and worn out.
I stripped my blaster back, repainted, reworked and restored it from the ground up.
Thanks for looking.
Regards
MARK

Thanks for all the kind comments fella's. Sorry I haven't replied, I somehow missed the thread updates.
LOL, yeah Andy, Dan has said even he sometimes gets confused when looking at some of the pics of my blaster which is a wonderful compliment indeed!
All the best,
