Glad to see someone has taken this project on. However it also seems to now be WAY out of my price range. Which of course sucks.

Ok Guys ,
Both Whitefall and I have discussed this at length and we are prepared to do a special deal for all Propsummit members - The 'Replicant Dossier' at $ 100 ( UK £60) and the 'Deckard's Personnel file' at $75 (UK £45) or both at $150 ( UK £95) postage and packing at cost , to make this possible, I have bought a reasonable amount of the expensive items up front , so I will ask for a deposit of 50% to secure ( returnable if order cancelled) balance when ready to ship , I will use secure Datapost world wide delivery service to calculate delivery costs , as these items are hand assembled and finished they do take time to prepare appx 2days per set, so these will be shipped to order.

PM for for orders or ask for details .

I have seen this first hand and it is really a beautiful thing. I really cannot say enough about Ben "Whitefall" he is truly an artist, maybe even a magician!

Thanks to Jonny for shifting things around to drop the price for Propsummit. I know from doing them that the materials can add up and the assembly time isn't insignificant.

(And thanks very much for the kind words, Amish!)

PostPosted: Fri Nov 06, 2009 10:03 am    Post subject: Price Reduction & Quality of Product Reply with quote

Hi All,

Just to remind all those interested - these props are being made exactly as Whitefall envisioned them and I quote :-

"The way I originally built and packaged them, they were sealed in several places so you had to actually break the seals to get to the material - the idea being you could sit down and imagine actually going through the restricted files. (They also included handwritten notes, applied blood stains on some of the material taken from one of the retired replicants, etc).

In fact, the Deckard personnel file even included a special "eyes only" envelope (sealed to the inside back of the file) that wasn't in the description. If you wanted to know what was in it, you had to tear it open... "
even though we have reduced the price for members here , we haven't reduced the quality or production of the contents , all the elements are there , the bloodstains are 'real' theatrical blood courtesy of Hammer Films 'Kensington Gore ", the Tyrell Security CD is included and all the photographic images are reproduced using high quality stock, the only 'artistic license' taken is regarding the 'Polariod'photos - Polaroid film stock is extremly difficult to obtain at the moment, even though they are going to re-launch, so for the moment 'the Polaroid' photo's included, are mockups - but made to studio production standards. Everything else is as listed the Dossier and File are sealed as Whitefall intended ,the only difference now, is the materials used, as production has now shifted to the UK

Deposit sent John.
To get anything done at the printers costs a fortune, even simple things so I think this new price is very reasonable for such a large project and cant wait
to see the finished product. Have a lot of Bens work and cant speak highly enough about the quality.
Tim.

My set of files arrived today and i am completely blown away by the attention to detail and sheer number of seperate items included. A massive congratulations
to Ben for his work and a huge thank you to propsjonnyb for being a gentleman and pleasure to deal with.
I have been lucky enough to catch some of the rare treasures that happen here from time to time and this is surely one.
Here are some pics that only scratch the surface....

I am keeping the Propsummit 'special price' until the end of January , I may even stretch it to the end of Feb for those here who expressed an interest but didn't buy , unfortunately after that it will revert back as the material costs involved have in most cases increased and I am not going to able to breakeven on them
