The only shot glass we see Deckard use is blue.

My question is does it have a solid blue band or the multiple ring blue band???

It looks like a solid blue band to me.

Thanks

It's a solid band. I have a bunch of these glasses and some has the band broken, and is clearly a solid one.

This looks like it is ribbed in the pic. jfuste says it's solid

So is it solid ribbed???

or just numerous bands.???

I thought it was solid but that pic makes it look not so solid???????????/

Confused

Yes it is solid, and yes it is ribbed ( that is the design)
it's not just a smooth solid band.
There is another style of these not used in the film that are also solid with a more deco style.... Yes ,Answers...

Yes, ^THIS^. One solid band with multiple ridges around the circumference.

The blue band is actually a continuous spiral wound around like a cord and cut down to make the band. A red banded one can also be seen on the piano as well as in a continuity error when Deckard wakes up and spills his shot. The Blue one is the iconic one for sure though.

Elfin Knights Project is also making replacement bands that will also fit the more common plain shot glasses. Actually I think they are selling them with the shot glass, but they had the rings manufactured.

These shot glasses sold one by one are expensive. My own glasses come with complete decanter sets, cheaper than buying one glass at all! So if you wanna a glass, look for "ring glasses decanter set". From time to time some set pops at ebay: decanters with trays, globes, etc.

Here you have a sample:

just to bring it up before its asked again, Deckard drinks out of Blue, Rachel out of red. I swear someone told me in one shot the blue one is green then the shot changes and it blue again? And I think there are 2 shot glass domes in Deck's apartment. Or one that was moved. In the living room by the door on top of the hutch, and under the cabenets by the bar. I think this might cover it all? Please correct me guys if any of this is wrong. I would be great is some one did a full on post covering all of this with pictures and made it a sticky. Including the cheifs 2 shot glasses. That I have but cant remember what there called because I got them so long ago. Also the glass in Leon's photo of Batty by the fan is a ice tea/lemonaide glass that is all over ebay, but the shipping is always almost the price of the glass. O.K. im starting to ramble and wave my Dork flag.

There are a couple of dispensers similar to the last one pictured above on ebay right now (only one has he correct glasses). There's also one of the chrome ball type (though it has the wrong glasses). There are also some glasses available (though none of the blue ones). Try searching "art deco shot glass" and "shot glass dispenser". I set up an automated search, so I used to get e-mails whenever they came up.

Just won a set on Ebay that has 7. Two blue, Two Green, One Yellow, and 2 plain.

Looking at two chrome dispencers and have bid on one.

Thanks for all your help.
