Well, I always liked the landing gear part of that ship and thanks to Fred and Neil for their pics I was able to get closer to build the entire prop...work in progress of course (hours of endless fun on that one); I had to choose a version (as far as I could see, there's three versions).

Of course, it'll be articulated |

Thanks guys...yeah, lots of work on that one. Remember; I have to detail 4 feet + all the pistons and the shocks and then the painting and the weathering (lots of rust on that stuff according to the pics)...then again, I recall that Brett liked to take his shower just under it )hence the rust) |

Really loving this build J.
What is the white material on the feet?
I've seen it being used on quite a few peoples projects. |

Wow... this is going to be just as unique as the Kane's Airlock model you made... Are you going to put the gear well doors on also? THAT WOULD BE AWESOME (hint..hint) _________________ ______________________________________

THis project just blows me away.. I love it. I would love to have something like this sitting in my house. If you ever want to part with the airlock model..let me know!..I also think that is a work of art! _________________ ______________________________________

Well, Space Jockey, as you know, my speciality is "Bigatures" not miniatures . So that sucker is already 28 inches from foot to foot and will be around 18 inches high...no I will not build a Nostromo to fit that landing gear
Here's the latest installment |

Thanks Neil Although not accurate it'll look, in the end, like the landing gear. I took some short-cut and artistic liberties with the design (as usual ) |
