Well, Tim's Soylent Green replicas have really inspired me to try and make something, and here it is...

Not the best, I know.
It's a pretty quick attempt and I'm not 100% happy with it.

I've also been working on some replica police ID's and things from another of my favourite films and some TV series.

Here's some replicas I made for Vanishing Point (1971)

None of these are seen in the movie so most of it is made up, including his first name which is why I've pixelated quite a bit of the information.

They're not finished yet. Still need to add signatures and laminating the police ID and drivers license. Also, found a typo Sad The challenger in the movie is a 1970's Challenger and I've put 1971 as year manufactured Sad

Let me know what you think.

Great projects Neil, im really getting into the detailed paper props and ID`s. Must admit i always wanted a set of the Kurtz files, you have made an awesome start there.
Have you made any additions to the Das Boot collection?

Cheers Tim.

I tried making a couple of the photos from Das Boot.
It's really hard without being able to take screencaps though.
Used a camera to take a picture off the TV. Not the best I know.
I think I need to tweak it a little.
There is also a picture of Karl Doenitz on the wall which I have a pretty close match on.

I'd love to be able to get more but some of it is really hard to find and expensive.
The ultimate would have to be a pair of Zeiss binoculars. Oh man...they would be nice to have.

I'd love to make more of the files from Kurtz's folder as well.
I have some screencaps of some of them but they only appear in segments.

Let me know if you start, Tim. Would love to see them.

Neil.

UPDATE

Well, I got most of my ID's and things laminated yesterday.
They turned out pretty nice.
I've also been working on some Taxi Driver replicas as well.
I've done 2 licences. One is Robert DeNiros and the other is Travis'.
Also, I've made a couple of other things from Taxi Driver.
Will post some pictures soon.

EDIT

Here is a picture of both licenses I made for Taxi Driver.
More items coming soon Smile

OK, time for some more pictures....

Paper items from "Taxi Driver" (All made from scratch by me)

Dirty Harry ID (Modified from a free version on the RPF and then laminated by me)

Dragnet ID's (Made using reference found on the internet)

Sarah Connor university ID from the Terminator (Again modified from a free version on the RPF and then laminated by me)

On all ID's I printed them out on paper, printed the photo's separately and stuck those on and then laminated.

Cheers J Wink

The Connor university ID is available in the paper props section on the RPF.
I just modified it a little.
The text on the RPF version looked off to me and I also drew the signature on by hand after I printed it.

Another update....

From the 2007 film Zodiac.

Since this I've added a made up signature to the ID card and laminated it.
Still need to finish the sketch and then go over it with some proper art pencils.

I've been working on a few more paper props.

I finally got to finish my Frank Bullitt ID.
I've been trying to make one for a few years now and finally I have one I am happy with.

Also I've made an Early Smith ID from Magnum Force. Another favourite of mine.

Will take some pictures soon Smile

UPDATE

Here are some more pictures.

The star numbers and signature on the Bullitt ID are made up.

The signature on the Early Smith ID is the same as on Harry's. From The Enforcer I think.

Also, I've started on a better version of the Zodiac sketch using proper pencils.

I haven't been working on it everyday so it may take me a while to complete.

Hehe...J they don't take very long.
Just print prop and laminate.
I also stick a proper photograph on as well.
It can take a while to make the file on the computer though. Smile
