So after a VERY long time of collecting parts, and with a lot of help from Matsuo, my full metal PR is finally (almost) done.
Only thing left to do is cut the base off of the HCG mag and attach it to my real Thompson mag, then hook up the wires for the counter. I might put in some wooden grips and stain them black when I find some, but Im not in a rush.

SD upper
real Thompson lower and bolt
real deactivated Rem 870
HCG shrouds
Matsuo stock (collapsible) and vent (10 hole)
real Spas cage
and a buck of other metal bits and pieces.

Wall mount coming next. I have the HCG one but I dont think it can take the weight of this baby so Im making a metal one.

Some pictures:

That is beautiful. Well done indeed. How heavy is it? I'm suprised you were able to find the 'real' parts. Did it take you very long to locate them, and how long did it take to make this from beginning to end?

Thanks. It is very heavy. To heavy to be any use as a real gun actually at 18lbs. It took me maybe 3 or 4 years to collect all the parts I needed. They are not all that hard to find really but it can get expensive. The upper is available from SD Studios. the lower and bolt from Gunbroker and the Rem870 form any gun shop. You can get the shrouds (while they last) from HCG or from Matsuo. other bits and bobs you have to stay on the lookout for, but they come around once in a while.

Beautiful 10 vents here! Never get tired of looking at those (specially all metal ones)!

Very nice looking rifle there...Love that metal! Yep 18lbs is heavy but it is a nice heavy.
Wouldn't mind having an all metal Pulse R'.....
Though, I am very pleased with my 2010 Hollywood C' Group Brown Bess Rifle.... plenty of metal with nice crisp quality resin castings.
The HCG rifle weighs 5kgs (about 12lbs).
