Hi Fred! I didn't draw that Sector 4 logo I found it in a book or on one of the DVDs or something (I wish I could remember exactly where!). All I did was invert it (it was originally white lines on black background) - I don't remember any red being there in the image I used.

This has crossed the line from fan made item to a serious work of art. I love all the little easter eggs in this.
Some more thoughts on it. How about a pocket on the front and maybe side of the binder so a removable case number can be put into it like a filing cabinet size
Something kind of like this...
http://www.officetimesavers.net/poly.htm
I figure something that would allow them to reuse the binders and keep them filed by case.

Absolutely, insanely fantastic.
If this was intentional (as in , it's a direct copy from a screen shot), never mind--but in Batty's file "ordnance" should have one more N.
And what's the deal with Sector 4? I get that the city is divided into sectors, but are they like police precincts? |

I think the way the city is divided from top to bottom, it may be a level rather then an area. The city was envisioned with the very rich living on top above the pollution, and the poorer living in the old city streets at the bottom or below.
Either way, a monochromatic version of the logo would likely look like you have it in the file. At most the red areas may be a grey tone in B&W. Since the stamps are the colored part of the pages, I see no reason to alter them at all.

If I remember well I read an interview of Moebius (in the '80's) and he mentioned the "layered-cake city" in BR and that the layers were coloured according to their level of danger/crime/pollution, etc. So not only it was rated a 4 it was in a red circle as well to show the increasing danger of living in that "floor" of the city. |

No prob Marcus, I just underscored this little detail because most of the time this logo isn't reproduced using the red areas (they could have been turned grey in your set)... this to say it was intended to look like a circle in the end (like a warning sign), not a cross...
This is just a detail that caught my eye... again, your work on those files is awesome !

Sorry, another typing error slipped through. Now corrected. I still need to run everything through spell check.
Batty's military identification record, military test results (only mentioned in the voiceover) and service record are not seen on screen I made them up.

Anyone like to contribute a few blocks of text about the laser scope, silencer, grips and function (rounds, firing action etc) on Rick's Zhora blaster to replace the 0's and 1's?
Some info from Rick: It's a PKD, 12mm CSLS. (caseless) rounds, laser sight is green, the silencer is stamped with 'Silencer' in Chinese and has a Russian brand stamp.

Did you have any luck with the binder? The reason I ask is because one of our suppliers at work makes custom folders to spec.
We've just recently had a run of 30 folders created for a large corporate company, and they were made from scratch.
It may be a pricey route - however, I would gladly speak to the guy and get a quote if you could provide me with a sketch or diagram, some measurements and perhaps a reference pic.
All the best

WOW, what an amazing labor of love... VERY, VERY impressive Kurty! I did a quick check on the binary code for the heck of it and it appears to be jibberish... I tried converting to both ASCII and ANSI but it doesn't appear to be anything more than random characters. If I get up to it I might try converting the whole page to see if there's anything I've missed, but I don't think so.
Anyway, I haven't been on actively in quite some time and I'm glad people are still finding stuff like this and working on cool projects! Keep up the awesome work!
P.S. If you are thinking of selling this as a prop replica I'd definately be interested as well, as long as it's not in the $800 range! _________________ Fiery the angles fell, deep thunder rolled around their shores, burning with the fires of Orc. |

Yup, just to see if they were some sort of easter egg or something. _________________ Fiery the angles fell, deep thunder rolled around their shores, burning with the fires of Orc. |

Hehe... I didn't think of that but it's a good idea LOL!
Anyway, all the binary has now been updated with Andy's info.
