I had know idea! I was reading the Buyer Feedback section here and visited Park's site. I am curious if this is his own design or is he fronting the MiM one or someone elses.
Though, for a price of $275. built, it doesnt seem like a bad deal. I just do not know any of the details.
Anyway, interesting to see he entered the BR market as well.

I've been tempted to ask Jeff the last couple of times we have spoken.
I think I'll inquire. I'll let you know if I find out anything! |

I am pretty positive that is the Offworld(MiM) gun. Not .44 caliber though, more like .38. |

I checked the blaster out on the site and it does look really good from the pictures. Since Im a total newbie to any of the blasters and have an itch to get one (The price with shipping it to Sweden was okay with me) I oughta ask those whom know..
Is it a good buy ?, it looks authentic too me _________________ Nicklas Ingels / Los Angeles, 2019 Webmaster

I found out from a source who buys large quantities from Park that it's the same 2019 blaster you find on Ebay. |

The one that Parks offers is a good one. However, you might be able to get a better price on Ebay. Otherwise, Rick (Doppleganger), Racprops, and Siderios(SidKits) all offer fantastic choices of blasters.
I have owned or own a couple of Rick's and they are absolutely fantastic. they come as kits. I have heard great things about Racprops as well as about SidKits. However, SidKits has a lower price then RACprops.
Anyway, I think you will be quite happy with whatever direction you take with your blaster.
Please keep us posted!

The funny thing about the title of the parks is, that model isn't even 44 cal like Rich's and SK. The cylinder they used is 38 cal.
Atleast that's my understanding, and since it looks like they cast from the hartfors gun, that would make sense given they used a smith 38 as the base revolver.
ahhhhhhh, useless knowledge. _________________ I don't have enough blasters! |

Kudos for the help.. I mailed ParkSabers and asked if it's a kit (build it yourself) which it wasnt, it's a built blaster and it's ready for display...
Since Im a total newbie when it comes to building stuff (I did some model airplanes which I blew up with firecrackers when I was younger) I'd rather get a profesionally built blaster..
It seems like Rick (Doppelganger) had some new blasters that's might be for sale in the future ?. I guess these blasters are items that pops up sometimes and then you have to act quick if you want to get one ? _________________ Nicklas Ingels / Los Angeles, 2019 Webmaster

Amish means you can get the exact same model parks sabers sells for about $200 on ebay. In fact there is one offered up now. That's $75 cheaper than parks sell it for. It's built, it's not a kit.
Parks didn't make these, they only sell them. Monsters in Motion made these particular blasters which have been coined "the offworld" blasters.
For a decent rundown on blasters check out this link:

7th post down. Great gyide for newbies.
Also, for some pics of the hero used in the film, DL the zip file in this thread.

First two links listed there will be very interesting reads for ya!!
Enjoy.

PS- when you're ready to start building kits, I thnk we have a few kit builders on the boards who can offer up great advice!
I'm sayin.

Richard Coyle (RAC Props) is the only one to offer a 'Built-up' kit, but the Offworld and Hartford's all come assembled as well. The difference is that each of Rich's guns are hand assembled by him from resin and metal castings and are therefore also individually unique guns. The Offworld and Hartford guns are production made and assembly line put together from standard parts. If you plan on 'playing' with and having it out of a showcase I would recommend the Offworld gun. If you want a display piece that you would most likely keep in a showcase the RAC Props is a decent choice. You could also look out for Built-ups of the Rick Ross and Sidkit guns on Ebay. Siderio may also offer a limited number of Built-ups with his new run. There is a side by side picture on the website here of the different guns...

But be careful it is hard to stop at just one.
As a note too, I am not sure the Monsters in Motion/Offworld gun was made by MiM. From what I have read at the RPF and from MiM themselves a third party was responsible for getting them produced with a commitment to buy from MiM. The 'third party' also may have had connections with Park Sabers. I have tried to talk to people directly about it, but very few are talking. I am pretty sure though that the Ebay name "offworld mfg" is the third party and directly related to the creators of the Offworld gun. |
