Here are some black grips poured from the production mold. I found a black resin from Smooth-On (Task 13) that is slightly flexible. The resulting grips have a hard rubber feel to them. It took a little bit of fussing but the casting for the clear amber grips is underway. Except for trimming off the pour sprue on top, this is exactly how the castings come out of the mold.
