Dear Friends of the Blaster,

I have found a way to help with the so called wiggle of the Plastic/Metal CS&T Worldcon blasters.

I am replacing the inner Bulldog pistol frame with a metal one and adding a touch of superglue.

This does mean you will not be able to take these two parts…apart.

This is a free upgrade/repair, I only ask you to ship your model in and I will then ship it back to you.

I am also going to use less metal on the future runs so not to overload these models again.

Thanks for your support.

Rich

PS Oncebitten: I will also include you with this offer, and repair or replace that broken trigger/pistol frame as needed.

Or ship you the inner frame if you rather do it your selves.

I've been working on some up-grades for it since I got it back from Andy...so I'm not concerned about the rest. I can still dismantle it and then re-assemble to the new frame.
The metal frame will go a long way to stabalize the whole thing.

My shipping address is in your PM Box.

Thanks again Rich!
I'll post pics when it's all together again.

I think I should clear a possible misunderstanding just in case.

I am talking about the inner pistol grip frame inside the pistol handle.

Not the main pistol frame its self.

I tested this repair and found that this was where the rest of the model was flexing on, on the one screw and pin used by the real gun and by me to be accurate.

So by using a metal grip frame and super gluing the pin and screw into the grip frame and letting a little glue to also hold the pistol frame to the grip frame we get a stronger and tight fit.

Rich,

That is a very generous offer.

For those of you who take Rich up on it, I'd love to see pictures. This fix won't make any visual difference. I'd just love to see one of these blasters.

I feel it is my normal operation, it was a problem and I figured out a fix.

I have always tried to take care of friends.

Hey, Rich.

Tom Moogan here.

I bought #8 of your Metal initiative blasters from you when you first started producing them a few years back.

How much would it cost to upgrade that one to the new Worldcon standard?

Please let me know.

Thanks,

Tom

I am very sorry, this is for the current model, to correct and fix the things that were wrong.

Note: There is no parts that interchange with the new model.

The only part that did not get changed was the cylinder and the sound and light model did not have one.

The good news is the last three of these models all sold for around $1500.00 on ebay, and as a 1 of 36 model run they are very rare.
