I was trying to make room in a basement closet for the kids ski helmets, when I came upon a box of my old vinyl albums, this was inside
I had completely forgotton I had this from the early eighties.

Great find. I love digging through my old stuff...sometimes it is like Christmas, all over again  . This book is the first one, and it came out in the late 70's actually (1979 to be exact). He had a second version that came out in the 80's too (Sentinel II 1987). Your book is the same one Ridley was looking at when he hired Syd to work on BR. The second one might have some BR stuff in it, but I can not recall, because I still have yet to put that one in my collection.
