Interesting reinterpretation, but not a whole lot in the way of Steam Punk in it.

Not bad. I tend not to judge these kinds of films too harshly. Glass houses and all that.

I'm with Noeland on that one...movies are not easy to make and certainly trying to re-create a look that we know by heart is compounding the difficulties. It's only when you actually do it that you realize the complexities of the process Wink

Especially with student films! It takes a while to learn the craft. They should be encouraged for being able to put together a set, props, actors and something of a story and make it work at the level they are operating at.

It's always nice to see a new take on things.

100% agree. I remember re-enacting scenes from the Indiana Jones movies on video in our backyards, and animating my beloved Star Wars kenner figures... and it led me to my hobby as a serious animator. The age of the students made me smile, considering the film is older than they are. Sure sign of a classic.
