Joe Kubert passed away. Crying or Very sad I used to read Sgt. Rock and Ennemy Ace in the early '70s in Belgium (in French at that time) and I fell in love with his way of drawing: very dynamic, simple but very effective.
In later years, when Jean Giraud (Gir, Moebius) came in with "Lieutenant Blueberry" his style reminded me a lot of Joe Kubert.

Agree.

Kubert was just one of those stalwart illustrators who could do no wrong in my eyes and his work had a big effect on my style and the subject matter I became interested in drawing.
