Man, with a little bit of effort you could install a mainspring and working trigger into that.

Hmmm . . . .

That render is FANFREAKINGTASTIC!!!!

Thanks for sharing it.

Thank you.

As a matter of fact, I just made allowances in the 3D model for articulating triggers. They will move just enough so they will not snap off if someone does try to pull the triggers, which we all seem to blindly do with fake guns, for some reason.

With the exception of a few more small parts to model, I now have all the "water-tight" stl files I need to print the gun parts. The grips I will make by hand, but eventually I'll get around to finishing them in Rhino to complete the 3D model images.

OK. Now this classic got stuck in my head -

Aerosmith's "Janie's Got A Gun".

With "Zhora" replacing "Janie" . . .

Here's one of the grip designs. This one will be in black rubber on a "Desert Sand" military finished version. The knobby texture is still being considered. I may decide on something else for the final texture.

I have ordered prints for all of the gun parts. As soon as they arrive, I will begin cleaning and prepping them for molding. Kits will be available soon. When ready, I will post information in The Prop Shop

I plan to offer two kit versions. One with rubber grips that can be finished in desert sand (as I plan to do for mine), or any color scheme that suits the builder. The second version will have the standard, smoother grips, like the pearlescent ones on the prototype. This version of the kit can be finished to look "new-out-of-the-box", or weathered and worn, like the prototype. Again, whatever the builder likes. This is all tentative now. Once I start building them, I'll have a better idea how well these grip variants work.

Thank you. I'm happy that you like the design. Although it has taken five years to finish, most of that time stored away in a box, it has given me time to make the necessary modification that I feel improve its aesthetic appeal.

I have finally settled on a grip pattern for the Black Rubberized grips.
