I'll start by saying that I have nothing to do with the making of this. I came across these on the blog of an Australian lady going by Nerfenstein, and thought I'd post it here since I didn't see anyone else having mentioned it. She has given the Super Soaker Microburst a Blade Runner -style makeover. Here's the source page: http://girlygamer.com.au/2012/02/blade-runner-mini-blaster-mod-nerf-super-soaker-microburst/

Good work on her part (not very "Future Noir"; more Dredd imo)
TFS Crowley. |

I can see it in the LEDs and the grip, could have added a different tone to the metal, more like the BR blaster. |

I'm curious about what tone you think would be more "Blade Runner". Close to solid black? I'm asking because I'm thinking of doing something similar to this myself, perhaps with the Point Break. |

As a Nerf gun mod, I think it looks great, but as a Blade Runner prop, it doesn't seem to fit very well with the other aesthetics. It reminds me of Fifth Element or like what joberg said, Dredd. But that's not Nerfenstein's fault, it's the gun that looks too futuristic, too ideal.
But yeah, if I were making this and I wanted it to look just like the BR blaster, I would add a two-tone color to it, just like the original blaster. All you need is a silver top and you're good to go. |

I can see what you are saying, I think. Overall stuff in Blade Runner tends to have rather smooth and rounded shapes, while this is more angular and bulky. That does certainly fit the firearms in Dredd more. Well, there's certainly more to the aesthetic than that, but that's just my hasty opinion as someone who has not pored over the visual design of the film much. |
