Talk about science fiction . . .

With the impact of the internet on communications and particularly print, the magazines and newspapers that populated Sir Ridley's BLADE RUNNER may well be absent from the real world of 2019 - at least in their current form, BUT . . .

Per the suggestion from Retrogarde, I decided to start a related thread, dedicated to the creation of advertisements, both as pages for use with the magazines or as stand-alone art.

Hopefully others will contribute here as well.

• I might suggest that if there is any interest in creating other elements - original written pages (news or futuristic stories related to the BR Universe) that might best be served on yet another thread.

As always, Have A Better One! - Replicant 13

Although not using the slogan now known to have been proposed for promoting the VK, here's an ad for a back cover -

Here's the link to Blurb with the price breakdown:

http://www.blurb.com/pricing#magazines-brochures

$11 (plus shipping) with a 20 page minimum. I don't see a maximum listed, but there is a .15 cent "extra page charge" listed below.

Filling 20 pages is going to take some work, but it would certainly make for an enjoyable project!

Can't afford that real Arabian stallion? Wish you had an ocelot to call your very own? No worries. Visit the emporiums at Animoid Row -

In the original script, JF Sebastian had made a replicant baby griffin for Tyrell's child's birthday. It got me thinking that maybe the Unicorn wasn't a dream, but actually a replicant or genetically created unicorn made by Tyrell and/or Sebastian. If you have the power to create life, and customize it, why not create fantasy creatures? Puts a whole twist on the dream sequence as well.

How about a public service ad asking citizens to report folks selling illegal real animal products (e.g. calfskin wallet) to the local police?

Prophetic writer. Flawed Genius . . . Cat lover.

If only mankind would take heed. We could all learn a lesson from the greater minds of science fiction, like PKD.

As BR's futurist Syd Mead predicted recently in an interview posted online last year, perhaps a metro vehicle of some type is in all of our near futures . . .
