The initial releases of the gun are usually for a professionally built version and always sell out immediately. I think this is also the case here, but am not sure. I may have to scratch together enough loot to buy one of the kits. I am very happy with the changes they made, especially the grip color, and changing the weaver knob/screw to an actually threaded piece, than just a fitted piece is a huge improvement in my eyes. Anybody want to buy an Olympia Cremina Espresso maker, or an antique Venetian Glass beaded bird lamp? Wink

Andy

*...it looks as though it is not sold out, but they are not taking orders until the 13th, tomorrow.

Help help help.

I can't find an order button and I can't read Japanese.

Are they sold out? I really want the pro-retailer.

Edit: never mind. I just saw last post.

The image I'm seeing on the site for the pre-assembled model is the same image used for the previous World-Con edition. Compare:

2014 Assembled model:

World-Con ("Wor-Con") model:

I'm pretty sure we're not seeing any finished product here... either that, or they're reusing the same image because the finish and grip colours are exactly identical on this latest model.

Also, I'm seeing this on the page:

[Order start date: 2014/06/13 (Friday) 13:00]

Seems like sales haven't yet started (unless Google isn't translating that properly).

The price for the Assembled model is ¥86,400 (approx. $850 USD), while the price for the Assembly Kit is ¥51,223 ($500 USD).

As I just posted: 2014/06/13, 13:00 JST, Launch at Hollywood Collector's Gallery.... It says in English at the page when the sales start... But note that it's JST: Japanese Standard Time....

Oops, sorry Buch... and thanks for the link. Hmmm, that'd be midnight here.

I wonder if they'll provide new images by the time the kits go on sale.

Is there an English language page?
I'm running the order page through a translator and, so far, I can't fit my US postal code into the postal code field.

Just tried it myself... seems the page is defaulted to ship only within Japan.

Has anyone been in contact with Mune? Is he still the person to go through if there was interest in purchasing these blasters?

The Hollywood Collecotr's Facebook page posted this earlier today :

Quote:
That produced this リテイラーエディション reflects the demand from the overseas retail stores, already overseas than equivalent number of inquiries received.

Book sale today of a special Japan domestic only limited edition 50 pieces for your presale will be happy, so thank you please thank you. Therefore, such personality on pay's credit card or wire transfer conditions ( after booking confirmation within 1 week ) to will be limited, so please thank you.

The translation is hard to decipher, but I think it's saying today's pre-sale is for domestic Japan only. Is that how you guys read it?

I think you may be right... on the Hollywood Collector's Gallery website (http://www.hollywood-japan.jp/shopbrand/038/009/X/), it states:

Quote:
※ About Tomenosuke Blaster PRO retailer Edition reservation start today... Some cases it may be that it was made to reflect the demand from retail stores overseas, a considerable number of inquiries we have been received from foreign countries already.
The advance sale of the day, because it will be a pre-sale and only 50 limited to customers of special Japan, I would like your understanding and cooperation please.

The Hollywood-Japan website has added some info on how to order for USA buyers and other countries (non-Japan) buyers.

Thanks for the update cratercritter. Now if only we could see some images of what the products look like. It'd be nice to know exactly what you're buying before plunking down almost $1000.

The English instructions on the Hollywood Collectors website say PayPal payments only, but they do not specify the PayPal email address. Am I mission something?

The picture is one I made. It's just the drawing of the gun, and I used my files to make this digital mock up of what the final boxes will look like.

Even though I try to make my drawings as accurate as I can, there WILL be differences from them to the finished product. Please don't use them as a guideline for the actual gun. Just for the box art Wink

The image was changed since my post staermose. Originally, it was the same photograph used for the World Con edition.

Edit: I updated the image link in the previous post.
