BWood...who are you really? You're always throwing something new at us regarding the V.K. Great pics btw (should be kept forever) we see the screens, the details (I knew, by seeing the Stephen Dane movie, that one of the "wheel" on the arm was black with little details: a round part protruding from it and some kind of a groove).

As for the machine itself, we can see some of the innards...very interesting, as if we're supposed to see the circuitry, lines, cables, etc...

Lol. Joberg, I knew you'd be on this the minute I posted, but I actually found these pictures just this morning on the internet. Glad you like them. I'm a nobody really, just trying to help when I can. Enjoy.

Is this the movie you're referring to, Joberg?

I'm bringing back this project from the dead..... because something finally works!!!!!

To be honest I had given up on this... but new ideas and ventures into the world of electronics have payed off.

I now have one of two working 2,5" screens for the side monitors of the VK:

Tadaaaaa: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wcSCNKPi0-Q

It's much sharper IRL, this is just a low res shot.... But works!

Other great news is I found a new big screen for the eye footage which is not widescreen!

Optimism restored... updates will follow...

Thanks guys Very Happy Mange tak!

The monitor is basic off the shelf do-it-your-self R-pi stuff...

Like this one: https://www.adafruit.com/products/912

But I got mine from Germany: Cheaper shipping, no import fees Wink

It's hooked up to cheap media player from eBay... Like this:

Looks good already...so by my calculation the small screen should be 3 1/4" X 3". Too bad Stephen Dane past away not long ago; it would had been nice to ask him a few questions about the prop. Crying or Very sad

Yes, I heard about his passing. Very sad.

3 1/4" X 3".... is that the size of the projected image, or including the black frame on old monitors or one entire housing?

These new parts will require some "creative" sizing...
