Incredible.

From what I can gather, when Sgt Peppers was released it was a reset button for everyone else in the rock music caper. Looks like some so called action directors are gunna be facing some mirror time.

"Extravagantly deranged, ear-splittingly cacophonous, and entirely over the top. . ."

Great review in the UK Guardian!

Very happy for Dr Miller and Co in regards to all the reviews and very, very happy that a three decade wait for me ends tomorrow.

Great picture.

Epic, Epic, Epic!
Minimal Max at its best, stripped back, brutal and breathtaking.

So much to discuss when more peeps see it.

Earlier if you can J, its that good.

Caught it at my local old school 2D complex first off and now I`m itchin to see it at the 3D Imax but that will be packed for a couple of weeks so will sneak in another 2D somewhere.

Saw it last night better than I thought it would be. Would give it a 7 out of 10. I thought it was maybe Charlize's best movie and she was all in. Tom Hardy was good Nicholas Hoult I thought was very good. Solid direction from George Miller galvanized the cast quite nicely.

Having said that it definitely does not have the look or the scope of a $150 million dollar film. I would have guessed they spent around $60 million. Great action but paper thin story - more like an extended trailer than a three act movie.

Unfortunately most of the best moments are in the trailer and I wish they had saved some of those great shots for the actual viewing experience. Kinda like when a comedy gives away all the best jokes in the trailer.

And way way way too much graphic violence towards women for my taste. There where definitely some firsts in this movie and not in a good way.

Finally caught it on the IMAX screen, should rename it clIMAX.

A second viewing only confirms this is a true masterpiece in every sense. Its so "beautiful" that I may have to start taking 4K televisions more seriously.

Too bad J, your patience will be rewarded though my friend.

Its good to hear the big theatres are still busy, we can get the next set of chaos quicker that way.

It makes me laugh when I read online from some that its just a there and back story line, last time I checked that pretty much sums up Apollo 13 to any who haven't seen it. Wink

Been a lot of chat about the new BoB in Fury Road, love its design but ya cant beat the original and the best.
Here he is in all his pre-apocalyptic glory roaming the lawful streets of Melbourne. I like the way they turned him from a good cowboy into a bad cowboy.

Was the main man in the second movie as well and now supposedly resides in sunny Florida. If anyone has seen him recently or even better, has pics, please post.
