So, all the holsters are done and ready to ship. look good Smile
They go out Monday.

Look for them in about 10-14 days in the USA, about 7 days or less in Europe.

Thanks again to everyone.

I've been off the boards for some time (second child got in the way haha!) but I'd love one of these.

Am I too late?

Sorry,

This holster run is done, I'm afraid.
I ordered just enough material for the number of holsters ordered, very well in advance.

To set up a run for one holster is a proper hassle. There's no economy of scale.
I don't mind doing it if you're willing to go the additional cost.

A stand alone make for one holster would be $149.00 plus shipping.
I think that's reasonable, unless you could interest 4 friends, in which case they'd be $99.00 a piece, plus shipping.

Karl, would you be willing to do another run if we can get at least 3 more including me and pnag, if he is still interested. That would be 5 total.... I sure would love another holster for my Coyle blaste kit i'm finishing up.

Yes, I can do a holster run for a minimum of 5 holsters, no problem.

The issue is simply this: they only make cows a certain size Smile
I have to order the leather in that specific colour that I call 'Deckard Whisky'.

The leather comes in a 'double shoulder' cut, which is as it sounds, the section behind the neck down to the bottom of the shoulders. A double shoulder is anywhere between 11 and 14 square feet. I choose the smallest hide size which I can comfortably get all the parts for 5 holsters out of with a bit spare. The leather is priced per square foot, and I don't use this colour for anything else so I can't have too much hanging around.

Incidentally, this colour leather is actually called 'Saddle Tan'. The combination of Saddle Tan and natural coloured thread goes back to pioneer days of the Old West.
The thread was the natural colour of the Linen it was made from, and the leather is the natural colour of the animal poo it was tanned with.

Thankfully we've moved on Smile

Short answer? Yes, we can do a run of 5 holsters.
