Howdy,

I'm looking into picking up one of the resin PKD kits available and had a question regarding construction. I do have experience working with resin kits and construction is usually a "simple" matter of pinning parts and superglue.
Most of the resin PKD kits i have seen come with screws...are these purely for decoration or are they actually used to hold the gun together meaning i will be required to drill and tap holes for construction.

Apologies if this seems like a really daft/simple question but I've never put together a PKD before Smile

I can only answer for my kits.

On my Plastic Stunt kits almost all the screws are cast as a part of my model.

You do need to drill and tap holes for the drips, butt plate, trigger guard, and the detail screws on the ammo housing on the left side.

Also the housing to barrel screw.

My old hero plastic kits all the screws were real and those were put together just like my metal models.
