Perhaps this has already been covered... But nevertheless I don't remember reading about it in any posts about Dec's apartment... And just wanted to share...
I'd been wondering for some time what round globe-like thing was as seen in this pic:
I think it could be one of these, a vintage so called globe fan:
They're not that easy to come by... or?? _________________ Monsieur, azonnal kövessen engem bitte

Yep Sanders, one of those will cost you a bit (if you find a real vintage one that is)...good luck, I've never seen one in real life and I scoured the antique markets in a lot of countries in my lifetime |

Nick ID'd it in his posts on the web of props on the RPF. You can search there and here for its more common name "banker's fan".

Cool, think I'll find that thread on theRPF...
Yes, I also found the description: Bank Teller Fan... Perhaps that's why they're so difficult to find, because they weren't made for the private market?
Thanks for the link to the new model... Looks good _________________ Monsieur, azonnal kövessen engem bitte |

They definitely pricey and finding the correct model is also tricky. Handful of similar variations.
I still don't have one in my collection, sadly. One day. |
