This is a little on the side project I've been working on... It has annoyed me for a couple of years that I was unable to find screen accurate Buddha heads... So what du you do? You do it yourself... So this is Version 1 Very Happy

Very impressive mate the base is spot on and the details are cracking:D Very Happy Very Happy
I've had similar thoughts about the hintha bird so have bought one that's close and plan to add to it with epoxy putty to Get the same details as the original and then see about casting it in pewter, that I can then weather and paint.
So spill the beans then Buch how did you go about it?

Thanks mate!

Keep us posted about that hintha bird project, sounds interesting Very Happy

Concerning the Buddha, I need to work on the head shape and the eyes on the next one... the eyes are difficult! It really is tricky to get the "Buddha expression" right... But first will be a prototype of the "pointy hat Buddha"...

Everything, both base and head, is free hand modeled in basic air drying modeling clay, nothing fancy really... A plastic plumbing tube connects the head to the base. Everything was primed with gray universal primer. Head spray painted bronze. Gold paint dry brushed on and plenty of black wash before the gold paint was dry...

Thats it really
