Thanks very much for the compliments..! They are much appreciated.

Once the decals have dried, I painted black in between them to hide the "seams" in between each of them.
Next, I masked the console, except for the decaled area, and sprayed some glossy clear-coat, just to seal that area.

Now, the control panels can be painted with Tamiya clear acrylic colors as shown.
I wanted some blue in there too, and I used Testors' blue metallic. That worked nicely too.

You can see how the overall effect is iridescent. It's quite effective.

More to come..!

Thanks..!

I've made a floor tile in the "Sulaco" style.
I shrank it down, and tiled it into a decal for the flight deck.

The decal has cut-outs where I need to glue the seats and the console. That way, I'm gluing them to something substantial, and not the decal itself.

I love when someone will add details to a model with the knowledge that nobody will see it. What counts, is that the maker knows it's there Cool
Great idea btw!

I'll be revisiting my Nostromo build shortly...

I got a bit distracted when I started making my Mr Poopy Butthole figure from the cartoon "Rick and Morty":

Have a Great Christmas..!
