Hey everyone, it has been a long time since I've
been logged on here but I need some input.
I made a steel cylinder for my Tomenosuke and
I finished it all but one thing.
There is a letter on the cylinder that came with the
gun where I've circled the enclosed picture.

The Tomenosuke has an "A".
Is that what is on the real hero prop or is it something else?

PS My picture taking skills suck because you cant see any
sanding marks on the cylinder in person.

Don

Looks fantastic.

From my various real .44 cylinders they all have different letter proof marks in that spot. Knowing Tomenosuke and attention to detail the Hero probably has that mark on it's cylinder.

Put me down for one when you do the run.

I thought that may be the case with the Tomenosuke .
I remember seeing the hero gun with the cylinder open
somewhere but I can't remember where it was.
As far as running them , I have fixturing made so
I could produce them in a timely fashion if need be.
I guess it would come down to demand if there is any.
I just wanted a metal cylinder so I could polish and blue
it like a real gun. It also has the benefit of not having that
big metal washer cast into it. It's also a direct drop in
so no mods are needed to the gun .

The pictures of the hero with the cylinder open are the ones from the auction program, perhaps?

Thanks for the pics. So it looks like it is an "A".
Here is a pic of mine in the gun.

Again my photography sucks but you get the idea.
I just put my barrel on as well.

Hi, I'm a little late to the party on this one.
I've got a couple of the older kit versions of the Tomenosuke which I'm planning on starting soon. Will these cylinders fit that particular variant of,the blaster?
If so could you put me down for 2 (would be coming to the UK).

I've posted this message in the sales thread, just in case you didn't see that.

Thanks.

If someone has an older Tomenosuke maybe they
could chime in but I imagine they are of the same design.
Does yours have the three little notches that keep the
ejector star from spinning?

Sorry for the late post. Here's a clear pic of the "A" on the hero cylinder.
