Guys -

Im working on an Esper app for Mac OS 10 (10.10 and higher) and was hoping some of you could download and take a look. Its a very early beta but it would be great to get input during the dev process.

Heres a link if you want to try it out:

https://server1.fontgear.net/downloads/Esper.zip

How it works:

This early beta already has an image loaded. Once you launch the app*, you can start giving voice commands:

"enhance"
"move left"
"move right" (and so on)
"center"
"pull back"
"move in"
"move out"

and there a some others.

* the first launch may ask you to update your voice software from Apple and will do that for you automatically.

So...

looking for interface ideas (images of the Esper front? Just leave the screen as is? grid controls?)
looking for must haves & good to have features
looking for general feedback for ongoing dev.

Thanks!

Sounds interesting, but I don't have any Apple devices to test it.
Is it possible to make a Window's compatible version.
Once the software is working, it would be great to build the actual machine and installing it.

I just downloaded it, and it doesn't seem to be responding to my voice input. Is there a preference I need to turn on? Running 10.12.1

Cool idea!

I'm new to this kind of thing with iOS. Does your phone have to be "jail-broke"?

I downloaded it and launched it.

I see the picture, the blue grid, I am getting the sound background and effects.

I tried dictating commands but it does not work.

Would need guidance about how to set it up.

Cool app if you can get it to work and add the ability to zoom in the grid just like in the movie.

OK figured it out.

Downloaded the Enhanced dictation I needed.

Works.

I gave it Move UP and DOWN and it responded.

I tried to get to the mirror and zoom in but was not able too.

When I try to get to the quadrant it goes past it.

It would be cool to have the ability to do the same as in the movie. I guess you would need to use a very high-resolution screen grab to do this or to replace the image as we zoom in.

Maybe using grid numbers ?

Also would be great if the sound effect would trigger along with the commands.

Still a very cool app by itself.
