Nice get on the tin....you can also see the origins of the horse prop there as well. _________________ Formerly offworld66 |

There's an option for a V12 battery box, which is rather large I guess... not sure you would be able to use the flat coin batteries... but worth looking into...
Otherwise making it light up would only be for display.... _________________ Monsieur, azonnal kövessen engem bitte |

Although possibly a little heavy, I thought of doing an animated one using a late model (thin) iPod.
The animation could play in a loop and the smaller size would fit more conveniently into a wallet - although it might need to be a modified one. _________________

One of the coolest props from the movie. I'm wondering if there'll be a licensed version released in the near future.
From a technical standpoint, I'm unable to bring anything to the table. Watch batteries would probably not deliver enough power. I'd settle for a glow in the dark version as a worst case scenario! |

OLED could be the solution...as for the wooden horse, the NECA one is on its 4 legs, while the one in the movie has 1 raised front leg...so not the same in my book. |

There's no raised leg on the wooden horse I saw in the film. Remember when it is flipped over to reveal the date? Do you have an image to show the raised leg Joberg? |

Maybe Joberg meant the one in the photo on this page? That's one that was in Deckard's place.
From the NECA Facebook page... "NECA’s Toy Horse Prop Replica is a key piece of the movie and was created working from an original screen-used prop. This poignant (see the movie!) piece measures approximately 3” tall and rests in a satin bed inside collector’s packaging. Made of wood-detailed resin. Retail: $20." |

Right, it's the same horse and the same pose as the one in the movie (with the date) and not the one standing near Rachael's photo...
So the NECA horse is the one to get if you want to start collecting the props. |

One cost me $200 on the auction site after a bidding war but it's in remarkably good condition. |

I saw one over at abe.com for about $200. I snagged a slightly more worn copy off of amazon for $70. |
