Guys,
I had an idea to make a Bladerunner phone holster.

It would use the exact same materials as my replica Deckard holsters: Specially dyed full grain cowhide, hand stitched, etc.

I would follow all the design cues from the blaster holster, so it would have a version of the curved spring pocket on the front (no internal spring, naturally), a version of the Safariland style belt loop on the back.

Stitched around three sides, open at the top.

I hope to have a prototype done end of tomorrow.

Would anyone be interested in these if I make them?

This sounds awesome. I keep my phone in my pocket, but would probably pick one up for fun anyway. Cool idea!

Hi Karl

Totally forgot you were producing holsters. Please could you PM me with details?

Unsure about the phone holster but a 1:1 scale version is still missing from my collection.

Cheers!

So, here we are with a fresh first prototype of the Bladerunner phone case.
As you can see, I drew on many of the original holster's design cues.

Thoughts?

Yep, replied to that.

So fellas,
What do we reckon to the phone case proto?

Veektohr,

It will largely depend on the numbers in the run/s. If we get enough interest, I can get some economy of scale going.

We need to nail down which models/sizes to make for, of course.

Bearing in mind these will be entirely hand made and hand stitched, I think USD$75 to USD$85 a piece.

Somewhere around there. Could be a bit cheaper per unit, if we had a lot of interest.

So, let's start an interest list!

If it's something that appeals, chime in with your name and phone model. Nothing concrete at the moment, there's still a lot to discuss, just a show of hands.

Hmmm...
I had thought there might be more interest in this idea.

Hi Karl,

I've lurked here long enough so I thought now would be as good a time as any to make my first post.

I'd be interested in one if the design can accommodate an older, 'non-smart' phone.

Hi Stuart!
Good to see you here.

Well, I'll stick you on the list.

What is the make and model of your phone?

I think many people are confused on what this is supposed to be.

Really?

It's a phone case for your belt, designed to look like the Bladerunner blaster holster.

I say in the very first post that it's a Bladerunner phone holster....

A fun idea, but, for my part, I'm not a phone wearer, and my discretionary funds are engaged elsewhere.

Best of luck.

You don't need to explain why you don't want one, it's fine Smile

I'll still put ideas up here when they strike me, see what people think.

This one I thought would get more interest.
But you can just never tell.

If anyone does feel the urge to get one, email me:
