The downside to the Blu-ray release is now I feel compelled to click through the film frame by frame when I should be doing any number of more pressing things...

Luv has interesting tastes, assuming she is responsible for the decor of her office space. Sparse, but worth a look.

I mentioned on the FB group (and I'm sure others have spotted them and perhaps mentioned them as well) her lovely chairs by designer Pierre Paulin (Ribbon Chair, 1966 - https://www.moma.org/collection/works/114386). As much as I like them, I don't see myself ending up with a set of these..

Unrelated from a prop perspective, and with apologies to those who may have already noticed: Luv's client is a hologram.

I had wondered if it was a play of light and/or my imagination, but this image, and the shooting script, confirmed it. I'm relieved...

The pens/styluses on the desk top are, I think:

On the left - a Böker iPlus TTP Tactical Tablet Pen (09BO097C) in gray. This may also be on Lt. Joshi's desk (one of two visible at the time she reaches under her desk to turn off her monitors).

On the right - what appears to be a Böker Plus MPP Multi-Purpose pen (09BO092) in black.

I have the 4k disc, but not the tech to plat it on. Can anyone in the group who does check this out and share their opinion?

Great detective job mate! Yep, those chairs are great (the date makes it possible to put it somewhere on the 2001 Space Station Hilton hotel Wink )

Great stuff, Rick! Thanks for this, especially the pen info. Smile

Here's another shot...

I mentioned to Rick earlier that I love that a great deal of thought actually goes into selecting these object that are only on screen for a few seconds. They could have used any nice looking pens, but, for Luv, they chose tactical pens that are designed so that they can also be used as weapons. Smile

One thing that is mentioned in the "Art and Soul" book that I completely missed on the first couple of viewings is that Luv's office is directly underneath Wallace's. So the water effected light coming in through her ceiling is the same water surrounding Wallace's "island."

I do love the Space Station V decor. The Olivier Mourgue Djinn chairs are cool. The only time I've seen one in person was at the Victoria & Albert. The docents/guards weren't keen on my trying to cop a quick sit...

Thanks for the tighter tac pen shot, Nexus7! I have ordered both of the pens that I think these are. I'll post some photos once I have them in hand.

And agreed on the decision to use those props - I'd like to think that both form and function played a part in their selection.

I apparently missed a posting on the RPF (by Mechanized2400) that I.D.s the pen on the right as an Uzi tacpen #7. Here's an image of that pen for comparison. Thoughts?

Disagree on this, Rick. The tip and the back end are a glossy silver compared to the screen used. I think you nailed it. Plus, the back end is domed and not flat.

Mine was delivered today so I can post a pic, later.

Excellent! I think we have a winner on this one. I should have one of the others in hand in the next day or two and will get an image up soon after.

Here are both of the Boker model tactical pens, in grey and black, respectively. Compared to Nexus7's screen cap off Luv's set, I'm feeling reasonably confident with the I.D. on these items.
