Perhaps some folk could post pics of their boxes with blasters?
Be nice to see them....

Here is mine, with the Tome Retailer Ed. + green LED kit.
Very nice. The only downside being the "crease" in the top left leather thingy caused by the folding arm.
As you see, I still haven't decided where to stick the plaque. |

Looks great.
The crease is an occupational hazard I'm afraid...
Doesn't happen on all the boxes, depends on where exactly I had to position the lid strut for it to function properly. A few millimeters either way does make a difference.
All the boxes are hand made and very slightly different.
One solution would be to cut a small rectangular piece out of the top layer of latherette/foam in that corner to make a little 'garage' for the folded arm.
Box looks great with your blaster in it

The pictures don't do it justice. Really beautiful work.
Thanks Karl! |

Yours took a while!
So glad it got there safely, and that you like it.
Best,

Well, Karl was nice enough to send me a piece of leatherette, so I could cut the top left corner of the box's inside (2/3 height) and place a little piece of leatherette on the "new bottom" (for cosmetic purpose).
Now, the articulated arm gets gently into its new customized hole.
Thanks again. |

Yep, that works.
Not every box requires it, it depends on the precise position of the lid strut.
I did it on a recent case for a Firefly Mal pistol. In this case both the top layer of the bottom foam and the lid needed a 'strut-garage'.

I forgot to ask : I still didn't place the plaque. Where would you have put it yourself, Karl ? |

So sorry,
Been away working overseas.
Just back.
Personally, I would put it inside on top of the leatherette, at the bottom right quarter.
