I have been wanting a Blaster for at leas 15 years now and this marvel seems to be the most accurate work to date... As I understand, they are going to make this replica in small numbers.. But WHY?? |

All I know is that the price has not been set. But I can add that I have been told that while much of the run is for sale in Japan, there are plans to sell these elsewhere in the world also.
Details to come.

You think there is any chance they will sell me just a few parts like grips and cylinder covers? Ive got almost everything else like a real bulldog, real Steyr receiver and bolt and a few original .222 mags and magwell/triggerguards etc. A few parts from them and WOW! Would be an awesome build.....
Right now what Im planning on doing is buying one of their blasters and removing the parts I want. Would be a real shame to destroy a nice blaster like that for a few parts. I guess what I'm really thirsting for are those grips though. Just the grips and Id be happy. (A few more parts and Id be happier still of course) |

I don't know if kits or individual parts would be made available. I kind of doubt it. But I will try to see what i can find out.

I very much doubt they'll ever produce spare parts, it just wouldn't be cost effective since you'd have to charge unrealistic prices like Zospec does for the Hartford, Helder22 since you have almost all the bits you need to make a truly accurate replica already , I would suggest getting a set of grips and shroud covers from Rich or elsewhere from member's of this forum like a custom handle from Marsattack's or a bolt from Don for example , that way you'll end up having one of the best and most accurate replicas and to be perfectly truthful , I really wish I had what you've got now as I'd be a very happy man!! |

Karl,
Photos and updates are brilliant, man. Thanks so much. It's really wonderful seeing this project take shape.
A good friend of mine is moving to Japan January 1, and I might talk him into getting one of these for me.
I suppose this has been asked before in this really length topic, but is there any inkling of price, and where and when they'll be available in Japan?
I ask this about the Japan market because most, if not all, of the questions seem to be focused on US availability. I'm in the US, but think I'd have a better chance of acquiring this piece via my friend, since he'll be over there where I expect it to be released first.
Cheers,
Jeff |

Thanks!
There is no information at this time about price or availability. As soon as I find anything out I will post it up here.

As far as I know, and I do have dealings with most Japanese Replica PFC Manufacturers, this is being released only in Japan for the domestic market. Current Japanese gun law and legislation, make this item illegal to export. So, if anyone were caught taking one, or sending one out of the country, they would certainly have it confiscated and probably face criminal proceedings. So, for many members here, they will, in all probability, never ever see one. |

I order/import PFC guns from japan all the time. In fact I got a marushin 1911 a few weeks ago from an airsoft company, I got a c96 from the same company a months back too. So it must be legal for some folks to do it. _________________ I don't have enough blasters! |

They specifically made this to pass the export laws so it could be sold outside Japan and to the US. That is why the Bulldog receiver is plastic and the barrel is blocked. It is also a non functioning gun, not a PFC or airsoft, sadly. They have even stated that they are producing more in hopes they will be able to sell them in the US and have talked about the company they will use to sell it internationally (HCG I believe).
However if all the guns sell out in Japan, it is true it will be very difficult to see them outside Japan, except for those few people who have contacts there, and the resellers that will of course mark them up well into the several thousand dollar range, as was done with the Hartfords before this.
You can use a translator like google, or babel fish to go back through to see what they have been talking about. Also I had some help from someone who reads Japanese to give me more accurate translations.

It not being able to fire is even better, this way they can sell them EVERYWHERE, allowing them to make more and not resulting in scalper prices. |

I stand corrected! the point I was trying to make was the majority of Japanese PFC guns are built to meet export requirements , it is the indvidual countries import regulations of replica guns that make them illegal, but if the replica is declaired a non-gun , non guns and certain PFC guns can be imported again dependant on legislation , however, the impression I was certainly given by my Marushin contact, is that the first run will certainly sell out in Japan almost immediately. |

I really like the the color of the grips. Nice deep amber. Not too orangey.

Those grips are amazing. Like I said. Imagine what is getting tossed into the garbage bins around that office. I would have to imagine that even the rejected/imperfect parts are damn nice.
They might think about selling/exporting parts kits, grips kits, etc as a way to share some of that stunning work with the rest of us!
