It's alright Robotprops, now time to do your mea culpa (dishes, vacuuming, laundry )...and good for you; don't be shy to post pics as soon as you have it.

Please, Please, Please... post pix of the un-assembled parts.
I'm dieing to know what changes were made? And if they are significant?
I'm considering getting the kit & selling off my World con Pro.
But w/ out seeing detailed pix, their is no way I can justify the purchase.

So if you would be willing? Shoot me a PM & I'll get you my email.

Mune says the kits won't be shipping until the end of March or early April. Only 300 units. Considering how many people have wanted a Tomenosuke blaster but couldn't afford one, and the kit is basically half the price... if you wait until someone gets their kit and posts pics it may be too late.

Just something else to consider.

Exactly my thought Dave. I'll definitely be posting pics, but I couldn't run the risk of waiting. I missed out on Rich's last metal kit run and refuse to spend the Tomenosuke premium, so I felt I had to jump on this kit while it's around.

Of course, when all 300 kits sell, I'm sure it won't be long before we see another. Mune is in business to make money after all.

I was thinking about that after I posted.

I nearly got one, but i know i dont have the skills necessary to assemble one, and my paint skills are basic at best. I know my limitations.

I got a confirmation email within an hour. They don't require payment until it's ready to ship.

TFS Andy...I wonder what kind of technique he uses

I find all the reference material I can, and make the drawing in Adobe Illustrator based on that.
Sometimes I find more reference after I thought I had completed the artwork. Therefore the blaster on the first poster sold at Hero Gallery Complex and the one on the Tomenosuke Blaster Pro Assembly kit isn't identical.

The box art is more accurate.

Welcome to propsummit Jakob. Great to have you here. I just bought your poster from Hero Gallery. I should be getting the Tomenosuke kit too if I can finish selling off some Lego's Very Happy. Make yourself at home.

I'm not sure if I'm getting one or not.
I didn't see the March 4th order time
and sent an email 2 days early. They said
they will notify me when available so
is that good or bad? Very Happy I'm not sure
but I guess I'll just have to see.

Thanks guys, ironically I only found this site after I completed the initial research and the drawing used on the poster.

A lot of things would have been easier to draw, had I looked here first.

But all in all I think it came out nicely.

I've since compared to to the blueprints found online of the Tomenosuke blaster, and it is really close to the same proportions. My drawing was based on pictures of different Blasters, and the actual weapons used in construction. But I could't find any blueprints. Not until I found this site.

Well.. yes and no.
The poster I made for Tomonosuke for promotion, will be given for free for the first 200 preorders for the upgrade kits. Not the full assembly kit.

This is my personal copy I got framed.

I assume you mean the upgrade parts which were sold previously only in Japan. Bummer.

Anyway you could talk them into selling the poster in the US?

I just got this answer from Shinji Nakako:

"I have no plan to sell the posters in the US. However I will sell posters at my online site if you give me a permission."

I gave him my permission and blessing to do so. Watch the Tomenosuke website for further details in the near future.
