Yes! I love it! Very eclectic. And look at all those Boyards!

While I usually like a display that provides plenty of space for the items, I actually think the "cluttered" look works very well here, bringing to mind the busy look of 2019 LA in the film.

thanks guys - when i got the case ... it was practically empty. after a couple of lucky eBay purchases, some generous help from my good buddy RepDetect (Thanks Phil!!), and of course the holy grail - OB's bottle ...

yeah it is getting quite cluttered. but i think i agree temponaut - thats the feel of the film after all. good idea about a darker color Skin Job 66 ... maybe i'll try a dark stain to color-match it better to Deck's furniture.

Offworld66 - my buddy Phil (Repdetect) tracked the owl ashtrays down somewhere in France. they are quite original and not from the film, but just
too cool to not go in our collections!

Great collection Photek! And well arranged...I am a bit jealous of all you guy's that have such nifty display cabinets.

Are you all aware of the Japanese Philosophy known as Wabi-Sabi?
I first learned of it years ago in reference to Japanese Rock Gardens...
the definition I was given was "Uneven-eveness" the most literall example of which was a series of straight lines raked in the rocks that then became curvy.
But I think the BR Whiskey Bottle falls under the term as well. Here is a quote I recently found that I think sums it up pretty well:

The NEON really brings the whole thing to life!

For the amount of time I spent on it, it ain't half bad. I tried a few different lighting combinations before I got this pic. I still need to play some more with it. Also play with some venetian blinds as well.

The Neon is also pretty cheap and can be had online or at Target (where I got mine). The best part is that a neon martini glass was used in the film and just be seen a few times in the movie. With lights off , Vangelis on the box, and a glass of Vodka/scotch in hand you can quickly feel like you are in the movie, especially if you empty the glass a few times.

Excellent pictures and great collection you all!! Now, to add some ''atmosphere'' to the pictures you should try to crank the smoke machine to achieve the real BR look...works everytime.

great idea with displaying your paper props. would be cool to buy a large poster all-glass frame and collage everything flat in there to hang on the wall like a piece of art. much better than a dusty cabinet

dont supose you have anymore of those red snakepit matchbooks? I've been after one of those for ages

I would be willing to spare one more of those red matchbook sets. I am beginning to run low on these now, and even Gary W. doesn't have any more full boxes left.

Maybe we can down the road produce another run of these with the propsummit address on them as a promo item.

My table with the paper props in them needs to be changed around, but even while it is covered by my work I can look down and see something that makes me smile in between the mess on top. I have some more flat stuff that needs to be displayed and it is better for small stuff than framing. It might be cool to layer some glass on a coffee table for a similar idea.

As far as the photos, I might also have to play with using incense for smoke effect. I don't want my room too smokey, but since I am not using flash some billowed smoke might look cool. I did the whole set up and photos in under 20 minutes, and most of that was cleaning off my desk.

It is the Sebatians Laminates hair spray cap. It fits pretty loosely. Otherwise it is pretty acceptable in the mean time.
