Any chance of the unicorn being sold as a single item ?

Well... many thanks for your appreciation on the rest of the set...
Rolling Eyes

No, sorry but I won't sell spare parts.

Oh, Don't take me the wrong way, it's a stunning set and the best expansion of any of the BR badges & other printed collectibles that's out there (atleast what I know of). Finding a tinfoil Unicorn which might seem like a minor item (but we all know the meaning of it) is very hard.

Im still interested in one of the set but for me, the tinfoil unicorn is somewhat of an "holy item" Wink

How many sets will you make and will it be one run only ?

Regarding the unicorn, I've decided to include a "real" paper one in this set mainly because I was very frustrated by the plastic version included in the BR Final Cut DVD set that was released last year. I understand why they made it this way, of course, but I thought "goddamn, I'll have to make one myself if I want a screen-accurate unicorn"... Then, a friend of mine who currently lives in Japan proposed to make a few for my set... I agreed and then, a few months later, he sent me 100 unicorns !!!
Shocked

I've already completed 30 sets and they're ready to order and ship (that's what I need to sell in order to refund myself).

Then, if more people are interested I'll complete some more, but there won't be more than 100 sets since I won't have more than 100 unicorns. (and I'll keep 30 to 40 sets as gifts to my friends)
Cool

Voilà !

Fred

Like I told earlier, it won't take a week to reach me. And today I got the parcel.
These sets Skin Job 66 have done are indeed very good. Lot of goodies, well printed and some of them are "aged" in a right way. Specially I do like the humoristic sampletube with odd things inside of it. <- not revealing what it is. Cool Not to mention fantastic paper-unicorn.

Both sets, Kowalski and Deckard, do have plenty of small items which may cause trouble to get well presented. One option is to make display mixed everything together as we have seen some of us doing. Would be shame just to keep these plasticbagged. These do deserve better way on display, like all good well done items.

Thanks for doing these props!

Hey Kai, glad to see you liked your set !

You know what, I'm going to reveal what's inside the tube...

I really wanted to make a tube full of drugs for Leon, but also wanted to avoid the use of pills, it's such a cliché, not Blade Runner enough...

So I've started to think that Leon would have bought them in a kind of asian marché noir (black market), so they would rather look like some kind of weird looking asian natural medicine... (they traditionaly use a lot of plants and herbs)

I've ended using a cooking ingredient (I know,it's sooo french) : entire pink berries. Here is what the original thing looks like when you buy it in a french store :

So the good news is that if you want to taste it, go on, it's safe... but please keep in mind that it's a bad quality drug, it couldn't help when Leon tried to hide his true origin during his WK test !
Laughing

BTW, the japanese kanjis on the label of the tube mean "High Castle". It's the name of that drug but above all, one of my favorite Dick's novels, The man in the High Castle !

WOOOW John, many thanks for your comments !!!
BTW, did you notice the Lego brick on the floppy disc ???

Good point regarding the key, that was the idea, glad to see you like it !!!

I've done many screencaps of the scene where Deckard and Gaff enter Leon's room and I think that the number on the door is 14, that's why I've added this detail on the key...

Many thanks again and à bientôt, Dude !

Many thanks for your nice comments, Phil !

Regarding the moonbase, well, I was rather thinking about the Clavius moonbase from 2001 : A Space Odyssey, mainly because the Pan Am shuttles are a reality in Kubrick's masterpiece...

I've also added a 2001 reference on the Voight-Kampff operator license... Did someone noticed this ?

Yep, you're right Andy...

Just to give everybody a rough idea of the road I was on to complete this project, here are a few steps on the recreation of the METROKAB logo...

Fred,

Received your package today. Did you get mine yet?

I am speechless. This is one of, if not the best and most imaginative fictional prop replicas I have seen. Great detail print quality and imagination. I love all of it. I definitely can see the love for BR in what you have created.

This is tops and well worth the asking price in my opinion.

I feel a photo shoot coming on...

Thank you again!

I don't really want the whole set, but would you consider selling the yukon card and parking tickets seperately? maybe even a trade? Wink

Many thanks for the kind words regarding the set, Beast !

Alas, as I said before in another post, I won't sell or trade spare parts, mainly because I've putted a lot of energy and time (several months) producing these... I simply CAN'T demolish some of them now that they are (at last !) complete...

Thanks a lot for your understanding...
Wink
