Yes Fred,
Its a place that can make patches of any design, i havnt checked if the patches are printed or proper sewn ones yet and i only have one patch design so need some more, but after doing some looking, there are a few places in Melbourne that can do no minimum order jobs, not super cheap
but reasonable.Im surprised that these arent available in Paris etc (not sure if your close).
So if you or Andy can get some more police badge designs to me, I can
do some serious research and you and Andy should have a look locally to get some price comparisons.

I have found a few places here, most ask around $10+ per patch for small runs under 50, prices go down after that. There are also some places on line that can do them cheaper.

My main problem has been doing the Illustrator files for them. I no longer have the program at home, and I spend too much time at work as is, to be willing to stay later working on my stuff. The puffy patches are also something that will have to be custom done. I am also looking for better photo reference for the other patches on the opposite shoulder and collar, and such.

After the original earpieces arrived i finally got to finish this off. Changed the inner visor using the same bits and trimmed the safety shield.
Although i wasnt able to use the original shield i got, hat was too small, Im
very happy with the way it turned out.....................

Actually, jumped the gun on this, its not finished yet, i will have to re-do the inner liner again.
I cut to this one before i had the side pieces so it puts everything a little out of whack. I also have to round off some trimming for more screen accuracy.

Many thanks Fred, I just used "flat black" spray paint. Apart from converting my spinner, its been my favorite project. So much so that ive decided to go one stage further and do the entire torso, no legs at this point. After doing some research, it turns out that to make the coat and re-cover the vest will not be to difficult using 1 inch bedding foam and the thin material i used to cover the hat, just need someone to work the sewing machine.
I picked up what im pretty sure is the watch used in the original costume
and am sitting on the calculator so hopefully i can get that part covered.

Fred, with the two small peices you need, i can easily replicate them using a softer plastic, they may be flatter than the originals but they will be identical.

Yep, Both the Casio C-80 and C-60 match pretty closely. I am not 100% which version it is though. The Larger Calculator is a Casio ML-71.

I am curious to what kind of flat black paint you used? My experience with flat black acrylic primer on the armor plates have only flaked off pretty easily. I went out and bought special primer for the type of plastic. Krylon Fusion paint.

Yes, that is great news Fred
Andy, it was just a cheap brand of spray paint that i have used for years, its very durable. I did very little preperation, only wiped the peices with a cloth. Didnt use a primer and because this stuff dries in 20 mins, gave it about 4 coats. Didnt use it on this job but sometimes use a "satin" fast dry, clear acrylic to give the paint some more protection. Although, if i saw a can of paint with the words "Krylon" and "Fusion"
on it, I would buy it

Got a new liner to allow for the original earpieces and i think it gives it a little more accuracy.
As the hat is small this is only good for display, if i can get a cheap,
really big hat, will attach the proper faceshield and get the original
goggles and can then be used as part of a bigger costume.
